If you've known us for awhile, you've heard us talk about "our adventure" from time to time. At first, we thought we might just take a month or so off from work and head to New Zealand. Then, we explored the possibility of extending the month to six months while we worked on farms throughout New Zealand. As time marched on, we got excited about seeing other parts of the world, and decided to quit our jobs and set out on an adventure around the world. We hope that you will enjoy keeping up with us on our travels, and that you will keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we have our adventure.
For those who have asked, "Where will you be, and when?" here's the basic itinerary:
September 15-26: Managua, Nicaragua
September 27-29: Atlanta, GA (frisbee tournament)
September 30-October 6: Maui, HI
October 7-10: Fiji
October 11-December 28: New Zealand
December 29-January 5: Sydney, Australia
January 6-19: Philippines
January 20-February 17: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos
February 17-March 3: India
March 4-April 30: Europe (Turkey, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, ???)
May: El Camino de Santiago in Spain
After all of that, we'll see how things are going, and whether we have the funds/inclination to continue our travels. At this point, we plan to return to the United States in mid-June or early July, but who knows what will happen almost a year from now.
